The first winter storm

The first winter storm has arrived; a bit early this year. The winds are shaking the house were our flat is and the snow is blowing horizontally. Due to both the weather and my health condition I have decided to work at home for most of the day. I discovered yesterday that I'm supposed to give a lecture and present my current research project this evening and had to work like a maniac to both finish all the other stuff I needed to do and also make some kind of lecture. I thus deserve some time in the sofa with a cup of tea (or ten) and some of the exciting books I just got from the university library about marriage and gender and bodies in the early modern period.
It might be that my aqua aerobics has been moved to Tuesdays though, so I have to find out.
