Another 1940s dress

I'm currently making the bodice pattern I made for this dress into a wrap front version cut deeper in front for a more sexy look. My friend and colleague Linus is defending his dissertation on the 26th of November and I'm sure it's going to be one hell of a party and thus want to dress accordingly. I've promised to wear my glitter shoes, otherwise I think these would look wonderful too since the dress will be in a sort of cherry red/cerise viscose with black velvety dots.
