Preparing for Beltane
Apr. 30th, 2011 01:17 pmI've made filled bread rolls with cheese, onion and thyme, I have packed my ritual dress and some jewelry and cider. I have repotted some plants. I am now alternating between reading the ritual to learn it by heart and hand sewing, both done in the sun on my balcony. I love festivals, preparing for them and just feeling. And then the ritual and feasting - and on this magical night on the threshold to summer to run in the woods, wade through the creek and sing.
