A strange night. And death.
May. 31st, 2011 06:54 amThis night was very strange indeed. First I couldn't fall asleep until 2.30 or thereabouts and then I slept in twenty minutes/half an hour long intervals, then woke up and spent double that time awake trying to go back to sleep. Needless to say I'm very tired now. But not sleepy.
It could be that I read "The Sea Priestess" by Dion Fortune before I went to bed and couldn't stand not reading more. Or it could be that someone I know died yesterday, not even forty. I can't say that we were friends as such, but we had known each other for a long time and it still was a shock when I found out. I read different people's very secretive statuses on facebook and soon got a strong feeling that I knew who it was and when I checked her profile it turned out that I was right. I do not know the details, and it really is none of my business, but apparently it shook me - maybe enough to keep me awake most of the night.
