A new blouse from not enough fabric
Sep. 22nd, 2011 10:43 amEver since I got my Vivien of Holloway trousers (that is : about two weeks ;) ) I've wanted to make a blouse in read and white striped fabric that I have to wear with them. Unfortunately there wasn't enough fabric for sleeves, but on the other hand blouses made from remnants are very 1940s.

This photo was taken before I made darts at the waist both front and back and added another button and buttonhole; it looks better now.
Changing the subject I must say how much I hate when my fringe is too long. But I'm saving it for Autumn Crown, since it's so much easier to pin up a long fringe than a short one, But after the 8th of October it will go.
