Arthritis again
Aug. 28th, 2012 07:07 amI'm having a bad flare in my arthritis right now; worse than I've had for years. My ankles and feet are so inflamed that I can hardly walk or stand and my shoulders, knees and fingers also hurt quite a lot. The pain is so bad that I have to take some really potent painkillers which makes me all groggy and makes it hard to think. It really is horrible to be ill when it's so bad that you can't even read a book.
I take one tramadol at night to be able to sleep or a bit earlier to relieve ta pain when it gets intolerable toward the evening. Then I am groggy until maybe 2 pm. If I don't walk outside the flat and walk as little as possible indoors I also have better period in the afternoon when I can do things like reading or cutting fabric. Yesterday I managed ot cut anew wrap dress from my usual patterna and even zig-zag the edges. Today I am going to the doctor and then to my councillor so I will probably be in too much pain to do anything tonight, but we'll see..
