Last and first

This is in both the last knitting project of 2012 and the first of 2013. I finished the cardigan on New Year's Eve, while Anna and I watched "Gentlemen prefer blondes" for the thousendth time and knitted/sewed knit pieces together. I started the cap on New Year's Eve too, but finished it the next morning. Yesterday I washed and blocked them and today the cardigan got its buttons, from Anna's stash. I made/improvised the pattern myself and it has short rows to provide shaping over the bust. The ribbing is knit on 3mm needles and the rest on 4 mm. The body of the cardigan is knit in one piece and the sleeves are mostly knit in the round on double pointed needles.
I wanted the cap to be a little bit bigger, but I ran out of grey yarn.
