I have made 14 metres of wide silk bias tape. It will hopefully be turned into three rows of ca 3 cm wide trim on the skirt for my new 16th century Swedish dress.
I have also found that despite layers of thick linen I will need to bone the front opening of the bodice with some narrow plastic bone. It would probably would have worked without it if I had laced the bodice closed, but I'm using hooks and eyes.
The plan is to wear it next weekend and I hop to have made a pleated linen apron by then too.
