Summing up the year
Dec. 31st, 2013 06:01 pmI read a lot of blog posts where people tell how their year have been. For many it seem to have been a year of non-ending trials and this haven't been a very good year for me either, no research funding, lots of pain and tiredness from arthritis, too much work stress etc. But all this, while still there in my mind, disappears when I think of the wonder, the joy that I am alive!!!

I am. And I am so grateful and happy.
I wish the wounds would heal faster so that I could take a bath, I will my ankle which I twisted on the 9th of November would stop hurting, and generally that my body would stop hurting, but still: I didn't die. That is how I think of 2013.
