We won the polling

So, we won the polling and are now waiting for the King and Queen to confirm or reject the will of the populace. We feel fairly confident. At least confident enough to make our new, nice clothes intended for the investiture. Mine is actually already made, btu it's not that I wouldn't have any use for it if we don't become baron and baroness. We shoudl probably avoid wearign our dresses together however.

In other news I am now on my second week with a cold that has given me temperature and dizziness as well as sinus problems and earache. I'm seeing a doctor today, because you need a paper from the doctor to show your employer if you have been ill more than a week. This is very badly timed, since I have an article that was due on the 1st. I wrote the editors of the volume a note and promised to finish it by Friday. I am extending that to Sunday, but then it really has to be finished.

So, I write when the paracetamol has forced the temperature down and rest when it comes back.
