Life goes on
Dec. 22nd, 2019 10:43 am On the 29th of November I got sick from exhaustion, and after a few visits to teh doctor I am now on sick leave until teh 31st of March. I am not surprised, this has been a logn time coming. But I am very relieved.
Inger has had 12 out of her 34 radiation treatments and it is causign her quite a lot of discomfort, but no real pain yet. It will come. We count down every day, and mostly it feels like the world is moving around us, clinging to each other for support. But it is not bad as such, just a very focused feeling.
My Yule preparations have been going well, since I haven't had to work at the same time, and the flat is reasonably clean, and decorated. The cats are much more violent towards the tree than last year, so every morning we collect ornaments from the floor. I have also started going to the gym again, which is good.
Today we celebrate the solstice, so now I am going to buy some cabbage and apples for a salad for our potluck.
