On my dissertation

I have just spent almost 2 hours with my mentor, talking about (almost) finished chapters and the chapter I'm working on now. He had some objections, but not too many, but I just can't get to starting to make the changes. You feel very empty after such a long session and you sometimes need time to digest it. We also talked about the printing of the book, the date for my disputation, that is when I present and defend it publicly and since I'm running a little behind schedule we decided the beginning of May. You're all welcome of course,it's a public event, but it will be in swedish. I will let you know the exact date as soon as it's finished.
Even with the new scholarship I got there will be financial trouble at the end of this period, but I refuse to worry about that now and just hope that it will be solved in the end.

Well, as I have a good friend in Gotheburg who will have a very new baby at the time, I will try to come, as I will have more than one excuse to go. And perhaps there would be time for us to have a chat too. :-)
