Another skirt

I started on a new skirt yesterday, I even finished it; zipper, lining, hemming and all. But it was too tight, it showed my soft bulgy belly in all it's glory and it wasn't really comfortable either. So I had to make another one. I took away the zipper and cut a new one. It's not like I haven't got six metres or something like that of the grey wool I was using. It was the last of my grey silk lining though, so I had to line it with pastel pink. Yes! The dreaded combination of grey and pastel pink. Not that anyone is going ot see the lining, but I would have preferred silk to viscose because silk keeps you warm. It is a little shorter than to the knees and looks pretty. I plan to wear it with grey or black tights and these in pink and pink. I ordered them on friday and can't wait to see them.

Maja has been trying and whiny today, but not as bad as yesterday. I wonder if she's getting sick.

tee hee! I just love that I'm not the only person in the world who adores totally fun socks! Where I live, people are more conservative with their sock choices, so it's quite fun to wear really bright stripes with things and see reactions. :-D
