I had a three hour talk with my mentor today and I feel much better. I will postpone the disputation to September. By doing so I have gained one month working time, since I have enough money to study/work also in April. Then the manuscript has to be finished so I can declare myself unemployed and get unemployment money. And look for jobs of course, that's why the manuscript will have to be finished. armillary, that means that preparing it for printing will be done in the beginning of May instead of in the beginning of April.

Thank you everybody who offered comfort and encouragement.

And I ordered more socks from Sock Dreams.

Good thing on the postponement too, as I am probably going to be fairly busy preparing for the move in early April. Does this mean that the pahtey is going to be postponed as well? Best look into shifting that and/or Ragnhild so as not to collide then...

Yes, of course the party will be after the disputation.
And teh disputation is not something that is easily shifted, once it's set it's set, unfortunately I won't have date for a while. Maybe one should plan to have Ragnhild in the beginning of October, just to be on the safe side?
