more spring

Most of the snow is gone. It's just the snow piles that still linger. Mostly they're covered in gravel so they are protected from sunshine too. There are snowdrops in the flowerbeds in protected areas, I have seen some sprouts of crocuses and the forsythia outside our house is in bloom. It's around 8 C/47 F so it isn't warm, but compared to earlier this month it's heavenly. Especially when the wind isn't so icy at it was on saturday.
Today is the premiere game for the season for my favourite football team. Another sure sign of spring.

Ja vi klarade det! vi hjälpte våren att ta sej fram. (Även om hon lurade oss lite ;))

Precis så kände jag det också. Okej för att det snöade någon dag efter det, men det var blöt snö som på något sätt satte igång det hela. Och sen kom våren, efter att vi hade väckt jordmodern.

It's only snowed about four times all winter in London. And it melted as soon as it hit the ground. This was my fifth winter in London and I still haven't got any nice winter photographs.
