Not unexpected none of Maja's wool tunics fits her anymore. The renaissance dress and coat may work, but I have my doubts. Since she's extremely un-cooperative with trying things on today I can't know for sure. Maybe I can make new sleeves for the red coat and she can use it this summer too. I really love the way it turned out and it's all hand sewn so it really would be a waste not to use it more. And we don't plan to have more children. But it would probably be easier to make a new one.
The next thing we're going to is a viking market in two weeks. I have just cut a tunic from a diamond twill wool blend (mostly wool) in white and light green for her and will start on it tonight. I hope she can still use her shifts from last year, but will have to try them on some other day. I think I will whip together a viking coat/kaftan for her too, because they're really practical for children. She also needs a new linen cap since the old ones are too small and won't protect her head from the sun.
The linen and wool hose I made last year were too big then and probably fits her this year too and the same goes for the shoes.

Excuse me while I die of the cuteness.

*dies*

Maja is so CUTE! And wee little kidlets in garb is utterly adorable. :)

Yup, me too. I'd say she even tops my niece in cuteness, but then I've spent a lot more time with Maja than the niece...
