I have also been bad at replying to other people's questions. So if nobody wants to answer mine it serves mer right. But I'm genuinely curious of what you think.

- What costume (that I could realistically pull off) would you like to see me do?

- What costume (with no constraints on time, skill, or money) would like to see me do?

- Which costume that I've completed do you like best?

- What genre or time period costume do you think I should do more of?

2. One of Elizabeth I's more elaborate dresses - the Pelican portrait or maybe the Ditchley gown.

I don't know all your costumes, but I'm impressed.

- What costume (that I could realistically pull off) would you like to see me do? I'd love to see you do an 'Early Bustle' gown. Something from around 1870/4-ish. They are somewhat short waisted and very kind to 'curvy' women and the skirt drapery is beautiful.

- What costume (with no constraints on time, skill, or money) would like to see me do? For some reason, I just have a need to see you in 'Early Bustle' so I'd love to see you do a really fancy ballgown in that style with enough skirt drapery and ruffles to choke a horse. 8-)

- Which costume that I've completed do you like best? I really like your folk costume. It is very nicely done and I think it suits you very well. I also like the blue Herjolfnes gown.

- What genre or time period costume do you think I should do more of? I would love to see you finish an 18th century gown to go over your stays and panniers.

Okay, for question 3, I vote for the green silk bliaut.

Just out of curiosity, do you take paying commissions to do folkdräkt? I have the skirt and bodice of my mormor's outfit, which is all that is left of it. It's very old, possibly mid-1800s, of a polished wool. Very similar to the one from Toarp in Västergötland on page 92 of Berg's book on folkdräkter, but not quite, and funnily enough, she was from the other side of Västergötland as well, near Källeryd. But the skirt and bodice are in a similar color, except the band at the bottom of the skirt is quite wide, about 10 cm, and the bodice doesn't overlap as it does in the picture but comes to the waist and has lappets in the back, embroidered in yellow cotton, plus it's trimmed on the top with the yellow as well. I suppose I need to take it to Nordiska Museet and see if they have more information on it, but I would love to have a folkdräkt in the same style for myself, since I am named after that grandmother as well.

From my farmor's side of the family, I can wear the Norwegian bunad from Soloor and Odal, which is found on page 38 of Norwegian Bunads, if you have that book. The bodice is VERY Elizabethan, and I want one of those as well before I die.

I'm combining 1 and 2 again, because I believe you have the technical skill to do it, but perhaps not the time to invest. I'd love to see you do the Anne of Cleves (http://tudorhistory.org/cleves/clevesnew.jpg) gown from the portrait by Holbein.

3. I just adore the 1520s dress you just finished. You have a lovely figure for that period.

1 & 2. I agree with the Holbein Anne of Cleeves and I'm sure you could do it justice.
3. I love the 16c Flemish dress; the quality of the research and construction impress me and I love the hat! :) I also have a fondness for the Green Bliaut.
4. I'd love to see you do another Tudor dress - the style of the Thomas More dress is so beautiful on you and you actually look good in the french hood, which isn't easy! LOL!

OK a little slow posting an answer to yor question but I was away for the weekend so..... anyway here we go...
1. I think the Anne of Cleves gown would be very interesting for you to do
2. I would love to see you do an 1860s ball gown from the chemise out... lots of lace and of course an amazing hair piece/caul.
3. I really like your 1520s gown- it looks really good on you
4. I love your early period stuff but I think that 16th C Tudor is more your style, so more of that time period
