I think I'm preparing for the baby right now. I feel anti-social and very content with just being at home, sleeping, reading, sewing some, fixing things. I'm focusing inwards. For example I didn't check my e-mail or LJ for the whole weekend, which is very unusual.
I'm staying home from work today, because I didn't sleep well and my cold is worse again. Unfortunately my former obsession with my writing has worn off, but I still have that essay to write. I'll be home tomorrow too, to get more rest, but then I'll get back in the saddle.
I've finished putting sequins on my kirtle and now I just have some altering to do on my green loose gown and then I can take some picture. Hopefully this will get done during the week.

Spangles. Sequins are the word in the US for glittery plastic discs stitched to some kind of backing fabric, beloved of Bob Mackie (Cher's favorite clothing designer). In Aleydis' period of interest they are small discs of gold or silver with a central hole.
