I am now the proud owner of Period costume for stage and screen. 1800-1909. It cost c. 80 $, but since it has been out of print for a while it's defintely worth it. Especially since I can't find the folder where I put the copies I made from it before :) I must have lent it to someone.

That is the one book I can't do without! I have made many garments from it. I am currently looking for the one book in the series I don't have (outer garments II), and a friend is looking for the 1800-1909. Did they have a selection where you got yours from?

It's a fabulous book- definitely an investment. I took the opportunity to have Jean sign my copy when I was her personal chauffeur during her seminars in Chicago a few years back. Lovely lady.
