Can't sleep
Apr. 12th, 2004 04:43 amIt's 4.40 in the morning and I've been awake and up for over an hour. I wish I could say the reason was contractions, but no, it's my ribcage hurting from arthritis. I took some painkillers an hour ago and have been sitting up, trying to breath at the top of my lungs, forcing the ribcage to expand. It usually helps, so I think I can go to bed soon again. I've been sleeping rather well this weekend otherwise, at least six hours every night and an hour in the day.
The weather has been nice and sunny but a bit cold, especially in the wind. Treacherous really, because the thermometer shows 15 degrees c and you think it's going to be warm outside and dress accordingly. Then you go out and wish you had a cap and mittens.
On friday we went to the season's first soccer game and I'm glad to say that our team won.
