I've had a wonderful day

myralea and herzeloyde have been here for around seven hours; sewing, talking, knitting and drinking tea. Maja has been most cooperative and I have done some finishing touches on the skirt, including fixing a pleat that mysteriously had become an extremely large knife pleat instead of a box pleat. I also cut some warm woolen sleeves and will now cut the linings and start slashing them. The problem is of course the combination of slashes and a curved two piece sleeve, but I'll work something out. The wool is a dark blue with a red tint and there will be yellow satin showing through the slits. There will probably be an inner thin wool lining too.
And now Rickard is home, We've had dinner and I will soon take a bath. Such bliss.
