Sick Maja

Maja was really sick yesterday. Her tummy hurt all the time and she refused to eat. She didn't even want to be nursed when she woke up and then she had some cow's milk and it all came up. That was in the morning, but she ddn't eat for the whole day and you could hear her belly rumbling from another room and she was crying and saying "Aj!" all the time.
But she slept okay-ish and today she actually had breakfast, so there is hope for a much better day.

My hands are hurting so much that I'm beginning to doubt the wisdom in sewing everything on my silk petticoat by hand. Maybe I'll start on something for the kids and do the straight seams on machine. But first there's a lot of tidying to be done!

I am myself starting to get sick of boning channels. I've only just gotten to the front edge of the tabs on my remaining effigy corset front panel. Meaning I've got something like 40 channels to go. Why are we this insane?

Aw, poor baby! MY kids had the stomach flu a while back. Depending on how old they are long as you can keep some water in them they're okay for not eating for a little while. I hope she feels better soon.
