Spring came today. It has been lurking for weeks, with birds singing and light skies, but today it was 11 C (53F) in the shadows, and even warmer in the sun and the winds were mild. I walked to the university in the sun and felt so good. I also looked pretty good; newly dyed hair (just a little darker than my natural colour), the new purple shoes, purple tights, a finely pleated teal skirt, a plum top, a nice teal jacket I have gotten from

herzeloyde and a plum coloured velvet beret with a bow. I may have gone a little overboard with the colour matching there, but I tell you: I looked really spiffy.
