Today has been an okay day, despite it being 30 C/86 F both inside and outside (in Sweden we don't have AC in private homes, just in offices and shops) and the fact that I don't deal well with heat. I have finished hand sewing another thin wool tunic for Maja (I made another one on Tuesday and Wednesday). Now all that remains to make for her before Visby in August is one or two pairs of hose and one more linen shift. I would like to make her a new renaissance dress, since she's outgrown her old one, but doesn't really need one. She may need new shoes too, but I think her daddy will have to sew them.
[livejournal.com profile] herzeloyde came over for dinner and P&P and we had a nice evening; knitting and sewing.

Oh my! I heard from my friend in Norway this week that it was hotter in Oslo than it is in Morrocco right now. I guess you're getting hit with the same weather. My condolences.

It's slightly hotter than that here at the moment, but we have AC. Of course my workshop on the third floor doesn't and it makes me dizzy just to go up there.

I hope it cools off for you soon, Eva. I hate the heat.

Todays forecast: Oslo 31. Casablanca 20 :) Didn't know that before now.

It hasn't been this hot in years actually. Good thing my apartment has high ceilings. It can be kept rather cool by opening the uppermost windows. However, we have direct sun from about 17-22.

Trying on my victorian gear is not very fun at the moment.
