Shorter and shorter hair

frualeydisLast week I cut off c. 6 cm and today my mother cut another 6 or something. The first were hardly noticeable when my hair was braided, but now my braid is really short and when my hair is loose it just reaches my bra strap.
I am mostly doing this because a lot of my hair is damaged from chemotherapy and chemical dyeing, but it feels fun to change too. Actually, if the local hairdresser had had the time today I maybe would have ended up with a little layered haircut too. Not shorter though, because I need to be able to make period hairstyles. My braids still overlap a little on top of my head, but they don't reach over the head anymore.
