Mine was in an awful condition. Methotrexate (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Methotrexate) just isn't good for your hair. I stopped taking it four years ago, but then I had the stress of pregnancy and nursing for a long time, so my hair wasn't feeling good. Especially not since I had used permanent dyes too, the bleach agent is also hard on your hair. I actually need to cut off more to get past the chemo-dyed part, but I need to be able to put up my hair for medieval clothing and my folk costume.
I hope that now that I don't take MTX (the side effects were bad and it didn't do much for my arhtritis) and have stopped dyeing it with anything except henna and indigo it will get strong and healthy again.
