The sewing machine is fixed. Now I need the strength to go get it and carry it home. 30 year old Husqvarnas are mainly made from steel and quite heavy. But this is good news, since I have a strong urge to make more mundane clothes.

Do you have one of those little trolleys for suitcases that you can strap it on? Or maybe load it onto the back of a bicycle, and walk it home (if it's not too far)?

I took it in the pram down there, but I think I will ask hubby to get it for me with his bike or with our "beer trolley" (actually my dad's).

I actually put mine in a small wheeled suitcase if I'm going to take it anywhere... they are ferociously heavy, aren't they!? I think my 6430 weighs about 45lbs...
