Finishing things for Visby

I have now finished the two new curtains/hangings (1,5 x 2 metres, hand hemming all around and ten tying cords attached to each) for the pavilion and another linen cap for Maja, in case there actually is sun in Visby. Rickard has cut out the pieces for Maja's new shoes, it's a 13th century model, though you see it later too. I think he will start sewing tomorrow. Making turn shoes doesn't really take that much time, especially not that small shoes.
I'm still thinking about whipping up something elegant and summery 16th century from rayon brocade. And I'll do it the simple way with hand sewing just for hems, attaching bodice linings and hooks and eyes. Maybe I'll even attach trim by machine ;) I have some nice ribbon where it won't show at all from the right side, unless you really rub your nose in it. Or maybe not, I can't remember when I last time was this indecisive about anything.
