The pink/cream dress is totally finished, including sleeves. No headwear though. Since the sleeves are italian-esque I will tape my hair (if it's possible with this short hair) and do something innovative with a sheer veil or so. I'll figure something out.

Maja's new shoes are finished, they only need to have some grease rubbed into them. they're made after a find from the 13th century and my darling husband has made them. Behind the cut there are some pictures.

Hubby sewing shoes. The t-shirt is of course based on the famous Ramones t-shirt and is for our football team, "IFK Göteborg". Instead of Joey, Johnny etc it says "Glenn, Glenn, Glenn, Glenn", because, unlikely as it may seem, during one of the really good periods in our team's history, when they won the UEFA-cup, they had four players named Glenn. And no, Glenn isn't a common name in Sweden, it's very unusual.

Finished shoes and one of my painted boxes; the one I have contacts, deodorant and medicines in. The flash makes the colours too sharp though.

Oh, and I'm really, really GOOD. Not only am I packing away my sewing machine, since I won't be using it for a while, but I'm actually taking it apart and cleaning it,

Yes, they're soo cute, I guess it's because they're so small; everything with three-year-olds are cute somehow.

Not to forget the three-year-old herself, of course...

I love the box and those shoes are sooo cute! I really need to make Henry some shoes, that he can't take off. Maybe sewn to his hose? Hmm.. possibilities!

Hope you'll have a great time in Visby! Let me know if there's anything you want over here in exchange for the Kränku-tea.

And that's a very pretty box.

Thank you. I think you would have made lovely 18th century children's clothes. It's not much of a comfort, but I think that those that are 10-15 years younger than us will have much easier to have children in same sex relationships than our generation. There is of course some exceptisons, a vicar and doctor of theology here in Gothenburg, recently adopted baby twins together with his partner, and he's about 40 I think.

That's what I have "neices and nephews" for...all the children in my SCA group get garb from me. I love making children's clothes!
