Woke up at four. The darling husband was doing it again; sleeping too close and breathing on me. It made it intolerable warm so I decided to get up instead. It's absolutely wonderful outside now, ca 15 degrees and the sky turning pale pink. I really love dawn. And when I'm not trying to sleep I don't mind the birds singing either.
I might be going to a medieval market 40 km from here today, if my mother has the time and wants to drive me there. The castle where it's at is kind of hard to reach with public transport and now that labour can start any time I prefer having access to a car. I don't think the market will be anything special, but it's a reason to get out of the house. I'll probably wear just a linen shift and a green wool cotte, a wimple and a fillet and skip the surcoat, because now that I'm so heavy and tired I have real problems standing heat.
