No Mårten/principality tourney for me

I have decided after this weekend's event, when I was taking care of Maja alone, that I will not go to Mårten's feast in November. She was a darling, but I still had very little time to socialize with other people. And at Mårten's there will be less people she knows, much worse sleeping arrangements (everybody's sleeping in a gym hall) and also a moat and a road close to the castle. At Härsjösand, where we have Lady Ragnhild's collegium, she could run around as she wanted and she spent quite a lot of time in the kitchen with herzeloyde. This will not be possible at Mårten's. Since the castle uses the same heating methods as in the 15th century and it hasn't been heated for months before we get there it will also be quite cold.
I would have loved to go, but not with a three-year-old.

So, instead I'm planning to go to a local event: Fru Sigrid's gästabud (Lady Sigrid's feast) , which is held in a reconstructed viking house. Without Maja, if I manage to catch a ride home in the night, since Rickard starts working at 9 am on Sunday.

Aww, I'll be sad not to see you at Coronet. Still, I completely understand your reasoning.

Have fun for me as well at Sigrid's. I wish I could go - haven't yet been to an event in Gotvik it's almost shameful. I will go to Wardrobe Camp next spring though!
