Kirtle update

I have pleated and sewn the skirt to the bodice on my green/navy shot silk taffeta kirtle. It fit well, but the point of the bodice needs to be sewn a little further down on the skirt (this is always a tricky part for me) I also want to make the neck opening a smidgeon lower and also wider. The shoulder straps are too wide, but since they are to cover the rather wide straps of my effigy corset they need to be wide. I can make the neck opening wider in the front though.
The taffeta looks divine, and the bodice isn't too long.
