+ things are heating up, people like heat. Lots of norther europeans flee to southern lattitudes to get through the winter, and even during summer they do so. Now they can enjoy higher temperatures at home. Less fossile fuel burnt up from all those trips saved.

Actually, what I dislike most is the rainy, damp and windy weather. And do you really think that people who are used to travelling abroad for their holidays are going to stop, just because the winters have become warmer and rainier?

+ fewer trafic deaths due to slippery roads, fewer elderly people who die due to complications after breaking their hip while slipping on icy sidewalks.

Actually, it's when the weather is damp and the temperature vacillates around zero that you get the worst iciness and slippery roads. If there is snow and real cold, the roads don't get very slippery. So we are going to get *more* motor accidents and old people breaking their neck-of-the-femurs, not less.

But you are right, we should just wait for 200 years without doing anything so that we can know for *certain* that what we were experiencing was global warming, whether on top of a naturally warm period or not. Too bad it may be far too late to do anything about the Earth by then.
