I'm cold

It's cold in here. This is very unusual, we have a very warm flat, but I guess the combination of a little drop in temperature and hard winds is making it chillier. Or maybe it's just me not being in very good condition right now.
Any way, I just want to go back to my bed. But soon I'm going to wake Maja and take her to preschool and then I must start working on January's new lectures (six).

Tonight I'm invited over to a discussion night at a friend's place, on the occasion of it being a hundred years since Simone de Beauvoir was born. I must admit to never having read anything form her, so I'm feeling a little reluctant about the whole thing - but I need to get out more and have a social life. And there will be drinking too.

I know all about that cold... It's a bit warmer here again, but a couple of days ago we had the same situation with the cold and the icy winds. I hope you can keep warm.

I have my Mum's old copy of "The Second Sex", but I must confess that I've never read it (or anything else by her) either...

Drinking and discussing de Beauvoir sounds like an interesting night! Hope you have fun!
