Nope, not 100% sure, it's a fashion drawing, but I think it is the likeliest case. Ribbons on a woollen fabric, with it's natural stretchiness is to beg for trouble I think. Not to mention all teh work if you're in the clothing business and want to make more than one.
One of them yellow the other red. Bought them years ago for dirt cheap (a pound a yard or somesuch), washed them and they shrank a little and thickened/fluffed beautifully and then never got around to doing anything with them.
