Sending a package weighing 600 grams to Norway costs 270 swedish crowns (divide it by 7 and you get the dollar approximately)!
Before we joined the EU there was different tariffs for the Nordic countries and the rest of Europe, but not any more.
I just hope my pink 18th century stays fit haugtussa and that they reach her soon (sent it yesterday) so that it's at least worth it.

Yeah, I once ordered woolen fabrics from Norway -- gorgeous fabrics, but the delivery rates and customs fees and things weren't funny.

Oh! That´s horrible! Off course I will pay you back for that. Postage is so expencive in Norway to, it´s cheaper to send a pacage from germany to norway than to send one from one place in Norway to another...
