A little good - a little bad

armillary tonight. That was good, as well as finding out that I can wear an old german dress with my new kirtle. The bad was finding out that the sleeves on the kirtle are really restricting and that I need to take them out and make new ones. The other bad was finding out that there's no way I'm going to fit into my velvet (gold) and damask (light blue) 16th century Saxon court gown again that I've only worn once and which looked really smashing on. This means that i'm going to sell it, so I need to get my dress dummy back so I can put it on her and take some photos. It really is a lovely gown, but my ribcage just is too wide after my latest pregnancy.
