She has woken every hour to eat some this night!

damn growth spurts. You have all of my sympathy. I breast fed 4 of them and completely understand. I used to lie on my side hook 'em up to a nip and go back to sleep. Have to slip your arm under their heads though so the milk doesn't go into their ear canals. My first one got tons of ear infections until I figured that one out. They'd start grunting at me when they emptied that one and I would wake up, roll over and hook 'em up on the other nip. Only way I maintained my sanity. It normally takes me forever to fall asleep once I wake up but I was so tired in those first months it never mattered. Of course this only works if they don't have the "potty reaction" to feeding. but I am sure you know all of this. Anyhow, *hugs* and hopefully your milk will regulate to her feeding demands quickly.

When mine went through that stage, I just slept with breasts available and baby in my arms. They latched on when they needed to and it barely roused me, certainly not enough to cause sleep deprivation. And no, you won't roll over on her and smush her.
