Yesterday I finished the red and gold brocade curtains that are going to divide the sleeping area from the rest of our pavillion, once the whole inner tent is done.
As it is now there are two "bed rooms" made as "boxes" of fabric with floor and wall, and in the children's room's case a ceiling too and a space between them where we socialize. You can probably make something out of how it looks from this picture.
My plan now is too "open up" the walls of the bed rooms, take away the ceiling, add some more wall fabric and a floor, thus making the lower part of an inner tent for the whole pavillion. I'm making the roof of the inner tent separate. The main reason for getting an inner tent is to make the pavillion 100% rain proof, but having a darker inner tent will also make the pavillion cooler during the day and keep some of the damp out of it. I'm not going to use my pavillion until August, but I think it's a good idea to get these things done now, when I'm enthusiastic and not wait until July when I have way too much other things to sew.

I also made a fringed veil/shawl to use with 12th century and earlier garb.
