A lousy New year's

I'm too ill to go anywhere, or even to socialize for longer periods, so the family had to go without me to herzeloyde for our planned New Year's dinner and party.
That sucks, but I'm actually too tired to really care.

I'm so sorry to read that you're unwell. Being unable to be with friends while they celebrate - no matter what the occasion - is really saddening.

I wish you a very happy - and much healthier - New Year.

We have a 'weather bomb' of a blizzard approaching with 'hurricane-force' winds, which should hit Nova Scotia just before our local midnight/New Year, but I do wish all of my LJ 'Friends' the very best of the New Year.
[Coming from Europe myself, I do keep an eye on the news from there.]
