frualeydisThe conference has been nice and we've had a good time together most of the time. There are times when it's obvious that except for me and the two art history doctors everybody knows each other really well and it is impossible for a non-arcaheologist to be wholly accepted. But mostly it feels good and I'm comfortable. I also made a new aquaintance; a nice guy wh's working at the natonial museum of antiquities. Now I just have to write my essay for the planned anthology; the deadline is the 1st of Decemeber.
Despite that it's a nice gang I didn't go out with them for dinner tonight, but instead teamed up with an old friend from when I started in the SCA 15 years ago, who doesn't play anymore, and some of the local SCA people, which was really, really nice.
