Sometimes it is nice to be alone

Today we had planned to go over to herzeloyde and bf after dinner for a bit of boardgaming and socializing. bippimalin is there too and I really want to see her, it's been too long. But then Maja fell asleep, after playing outdoors most of the afternoon, and since I don't do much gaming it was only reasonable that I should stay home with her until she wakes up.
And I don't mind really - I've done some ironing with my new iron (replacing the one which caught fire a week ago) and now I am looking at illustrations from 50s sewing patterns, drinking tea, listening to New Order and occasionally sort some clean laundry. It feels really, really good to be home.

It does! I've even attempted to fix my broken spearhead. It looks rough right now but it should be good for the medieval conference for this Easter long weekend.
