Everybody is going...

Everybody is going to the Civil War except me. And I'm sure it will be a glorious event. But I'm currently not well enough to go to an event alone with Maja, it would take too much energy to take care of her. The travel itself, bringing all the luggage on trains etc would also have taken its toll as well as sleeping on the floor. But I miss my dear friends and I would have loved to see the fighting, hang with friends and wear pretty clothes.

Instead I will go to the birthday party of one of Maja's friends and work on my corset. Today it's grommet time. Then I'll finally get to see if it's too small - it does look very small when I hold it against my body, but the mock up fit well.

It is much better to have a corset that is a little bit too small than one which is a little bit too big. I can't wait to see you in the full outfit, and want to hear everything about the barrette boots.
