A pink hippopotamus

I just got told in my swedish blog that I looked like a pink hippopotamus (and I'm mighty proud that I can spell that) on these photos. Thank Gods and Goddesses I already know that I look hot in that - what would I have done otherwise? Hid myself forever? ;) I wonder what people who leave that kind of comments want to accomplish?

...I can see why a normal-sized lady might seem unusual. I hope she in time will learn that the fashion ideal is fashionable because it's impossible and hence fascinating. It's all about unnatural proportions and lines, the worse the better. It might be fascinating, but it ain't sexy. You, on the other hand... Sweden: 12 points!

Some people think they are allowed to say anything as long is it's honest. Because the truth must be told, isn't it? So you can be blunt, or offensive, as long as you are being honest, it's allowed. Or that is what they think.

I think you best pay them no mind. There are lots of people (including me) who think you look hot in that outfit, and there are some people think you don't look hot. It's a matter of opinion.

In British Museum, I saw a very cute silver hippopotamus (and some bigger blue ones).

Of course I wanted one! But I made the mistake of saying that it might be percieved wrong if we were to give them to someone as a gift, so solbirger didn't understand that he was to surprise me. I had to tell him straight out, and then I finally got my cute little silver hippo.

The day after we went to London Zoo, and saw the dwarf hippopotami in their hot tubs.

(And I agree with was has been said, the blog commenter has no clue, and I am glad she didn't manage to hurt you.)

I actually find rhinoceroses more wonderful than a hippopotamus( how are they spelled eh?) Nothing is cuter than a baby rhino!

And now I can demand that ALL of you go and read the wonderful danish book "Otto er et naesehorn" written by Ole Lund Kirkegaard. Its a really funny and cute book!
