What to sew?

First I lost my interest in my new 16th century outfit, so when my sewing machine broke down it didn't seem like such a disaster. But now I want to sew modern (as in 1930s, 40s and 50s) clothing and it's still not finished at the shop!
Since I can't do machine sewing I guess that maybe I should start on a shirt for the 16th century outfit anyway. I'd better dig out the Sture shirt booklet.
