Training and work

I am currently doing a two week intensive training/rehab thing at a local hospital. The timing could have been better; for isntance I could have gotten the opportunity to do this when I was feeling really bad in the winter and not in spring when I'm better. But most of all: it could have been some other time than the two weeks preceding the triennial national Historian's conference. I'm supposed to present research that I just haven't been able to do, due to first three months when I wasn't working because of illness in the winter and now two weeks when I can't work because the training takes up all my time and energy. I will have to wing it, but this really isn't the conference I'd like to do that on.

I had hoped that I would have the energy to work some in the evenings, but unfortunately not. I am barely able to do my radio work - tonight we send again.
