A dream project for autumn

This lovely jersey dress, modeled by Ann Sheridan 1940 (or possibly 1939, it's printed in a Swedish magazine in February 1940) is somethign I'd love to make for autumn/winter.

I haven't made anything from elastic fabric ever, but this could actually make me try it.



According to the text the stripes are grey, black and burgundy, but it doesn't look like it on the photo, even when you disregard the colour added in print.

That's jersey? It really doesn't look like it. It seems a little too stiff and the drape doesn't look like jersey. But it is an awesoe dress!
