A trip to Kiel

frualeydisToday I am going with my friend Caroline and her parents on a mini cruise to Kiel in Germany. I am sure that I need the time off from all the problems with the kids and I think it will be fun. However, I will miss being home with the family and my sewing machine. Especially since Maja, Valeria and I were away last weekend for an SCA event. I need my stay at home time a lot.
But I'm not going to think about that, instead I'm going to think about what clothes to pack. The suit is coming along and my red wrap dress, but I need an extra skirt and top if I get clumsy and spill on me, as I often do.
I have never been to Kiel, but I've heard that it's very pretty and since Caroline plus parents go once every year they know their way around the place. I foresee some eating, some shopping and lots of drinking. I will try to get som photos taken too and show them here later.
