frualeydisI really, really intended to make a post here too, but it's so much work to upload the photos to photobucket too so I just direct you to my other blog for a post with lots of pictures of a stoves, bikes, a washing machine and of course a sewing machine as well as some vintage ads. I have been busy today with doing laundry, goign to the doctor about my cold which has lasted forever and general unpacking, but now all my new fabric is washed at least.
Now I just have to figure out what to wear to a medieval festival at the local castle, where our barony is having a demo.I haven't finsihed the sleeves for my 15th cnetury venetian yet and I'd really much rather drink than sew tonight so I'll probably wear something old. Since so many are doing middle class these days I sort of feel that I ought to be a noble lady in silk tomorrow, but I don't have much in that way that fits me.
