I just ordered pink dupioni and some strong linen to make me a new back laced 16th century corset. I have also finished my buttoned hood. It's really pretty and the colours really suit me. I am getting much better at making cloth buttons and buttonholes. I used thin wool yarn for the buttonholes and while it isn't as strong as buttonhole silk it is easier to make nice button holes from because it's thicker. Pictures will come, but not until after the weekend since we're going to my cousin Annelie (who breeds welsh ponies) so the big girls can ride.
